LINK4LIFE AT HOME
By Steve Cooke
The LINK4LIFE [L4L] team know that regular exercise and being creative is essential for keeping us as healthy as possible and boosting our mood and that's why they have created ‘At Home’, providing a range of activities for children, adults and older adults.
Alongside L4L’s own activities and those of their partners, they have also included links to some of the great resources available from other organisations to give us a range of online activities.
Already available are: National Theatre Live at Home, The Lowry Get Creative, Quick, Draw!, Grayson's Art Club (Channel 4), Touchstones Artwork Collections, Virtual Tour of Rochdale Arts, Knitting and Crochet Projects, The Shows Must Go On! Phantom of the Opera, BBC Arts, Comedies & Documentaries, 3D Virtual Tours, Patterns of Flora Colouring Book (Atlas Arts), Armchair Gallery, Artist Activity Packs (Firstsite), Baltic Art, Talk Art Podcast, Engage with art and improve your wellbeing (Manchester Art Gallery), Enjoy Manchester Museum in your own home, The Great Women Artists Podcast (Katy Hessel), Making Gay History Podcast, A Creative Journey in Envelopes (I Am All Stories), Rijksmuseum from home, Crafting Projects (MCM Crafts), Dundee Contemporary Arts.
L4L will be adding more each week to help us stay active, creative and healthy so keep checking back.
