AATA - AN OASIS OF POSITIVITY

An oasis of positivity celebrating the creative arts with articles, previews, reviews, interviews, and recommendations.
Operating as a non-profit volunteer community group based in Rochdale, Greater Manchester AATA heavily champions creative arts events and activities to encourage and enable participation across the whole community.
Celebrating creativity and creatives across all genres from the local to the global with a strong focus on promoting the arts to support individual and community wellbeing, mental health, and resilience as well as for pure enjoyment.
Encouraging, enabling and inspiring people both to engage with and join the creative arts community through columns in print, online and across social media.
Publishing regular features, articles, interviews, previews, and reviews including two columns per week in the Rochdale Observer, online on InYourArea and via the All Across the Arts website across social media plus a quarterly column in Rochdale Style Magazine.
In addition to a strong following in the local area and across the UK AATA has a worldwide readership including from countries such as Australia, Canada, Cyprus, France, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Nigeria, Pakistan, Spain and USA.
AATA has one fundamental editorial philosophy : “Never be negative – only give readers what you truly believe is worthy of their attention and could inspire involvement and engagement.”
It is led and curated by Steve Cooke, arts columnist, community advocate and educator supported by an experienced team of volunteer writers.
