LEGENDARY COMEDIAN JIMMY CRICKET SHOWS HIS SUPPORT FOR LOCAL LIVE MUSICAL THEATRE

By Steve Cooke

An opportunity to enjoy and support live musical theatre in an iconic venue!

Excitement has been building for the opening night of musical comedy The Producers in the Champness Hall, Rochdale.

Legendary Irish comedian (and adopted Rochdalian) Jimmy Cricket called into rehearsals to see what all the fuss was about and was ‘blown away’ by the talented cast and the historical 700-seater venue in the heart of the town centre.

Jimmy met with the cast and crew of Rochdale Musical Theatre Company to show his support and wish them well for the upcoming production commenting:

“It’s so good to see live theatre back in the centre of Rochdale! We’ve really missed theatre and live events over the past couple of years.”

“With this young talented cast, I’m sure The Producers is going to be a sell out every night and I encourage the local community to get behind this fabulous, vibrant musical comedy.”

The laugh-out-loud all singing, all dancing production with a live 12-piece orchestra isn’t one to miss and I implore you not to!

12th-21st May at Champness Hall, Drake Street, Rochdale.

Opening night is in aid of charity partner, Springhill Hospice, with £1 from every ticket, a raffle and programme sales all being donated to the charity.

£16
