Yayoi Kusama is bringing her largest-ever immersive environment to Manchester. You, Me and the Balloons celebrates three decades of the pioneering Japanese artist's inflatable artworks, which are brought together for the first time in this major exhibition. Journey through Kusama's psychedelic creations - many over 10m tall - including giant dolls, spectacular tendrilled landscapes and a vast constellation of polka-dot spheres.

Factory International’s first world-premiere and official opening show will transform The Matrix into a thrilling performance, featuring a huge cast of dancers from across the region and the latest immersive design. Directed by Danny Boyle with choreography from Kenrick ‘H2O’ Sandy MBE and composer Michael ‘Mikey J’ Asante MBE (founders of Boy Blue), plus stage design from Es Devlin and the storytelling of Sabrina Mahfouz.
There are a range of affordable tickets including options for £10 or less.
MIF’ new home will host a year-round programme of the world's best dance, theatre, music, visual arts, performance, installation, and digital commissions. MIF will continue to take over the city every two years, using the venue as its base.
